In our release, on August 10th 2020, we will brighten up the instructor experience by giving them an optimised and clear dashboard. We will also add functionalities to the events and optimise the general usability of the aNewSpring platform. We love feedback, so please let us know what you think of this new release!
In the previous release, we already made optimisations to the navigation of the instructors. For this release, we focused more on all the different actions instructors will carry out. We want to make sure it is clear for all where those actions can be done.
Some functionalities in the ‘old’ overview could be hard to find sometimes. We now moved the widely used functionalities to tabs, so that they are more present in the overview. Incoming messages and work to assess are shown at the top of the page, with the well known red dots as a notification for new messages.
In the video below I will show you this new dashboard.

While talking to our customers, we found that it can be very useful to connect events to each other. Sometimes different events or meetings are part of a series or a set. With the new connected events, a learner who enrolled himself for meeting 1, will also automatically be enrolled for all of the other meetings that are connected to that event.
After the new release you can create these connected events. You do this by grouping the events. An event can only be put in one event group at the same time.
I will show you how to group the events in the video below.

Before, it was only possible for a learner to see the details of an event when they were taking part in a learning journey, after he/she added or purchased a learning journey. It can happen that the events are already full, or are set at a location where you are not able to attend. To prevent these problems, we’ve now made these details visible before you add or buy a learning journey.
