We have got an awesome new release ready for you. The release will go live on 16th March 2020. I will tell you all about this new release in text and video.
Templates are created on a frequent basis. Many users have become quite handy at this, but we saw that new users sometimes have trouble selecting the right settings. Our usability experts therefore did a lot of tests with users and they’ve created a new optimised page where you can easily create your template.
You no longer have to select a type (social, blended, etc.). You now first choose the goal and then set the functionalities you aim to use. We found that this new design is more coherent and makes it easier for the user to make the right choices. Of course we hope you find this an improvement as well and we’d love to receive your feedback.
As you will be able to connect multiple learner groups to a course after our new release, you will be more flexible in managing groups and courses. You can now connect groups that you might have set up as sub groups or classes, to the same course. In the near future these groups will also be visible for the instructor. The instructor could then for example see only the results of certain groups within that course.
Events are used in all sorts of ways. We found that it could be useful to have a attendance registration for some events. We therefore added this as an assessment type and learners can now be assessed with ‘Present’ or ‘Absent’. We also made it possible to set a period in which a learner can unsubscribe from an event. Learners can only unenroll before the set time period, once the set time period is reached, learners are unable to unenroll.
