Making a difference through training and truly helping people learn, that’s something we all stand for: #IHelpPeopleLearn.
Learning, we’re all passionate about it. Helping people learn, learning from each other and stimulating learning. That enthusiasm can be found throughout the learning community. From learning designer to Chief Learning Officer, from trainer to learning consultant and from e-learning developer to training manager. Even though roles differ, the purpose is the same.
Do YOU recognize yourself in this?
Helping people learn is also the main purpose of aNewSpring and we would like to extend that message. Like us, do you feel connected to the following principles?
YOU have a practical and no-nonsense mindset and approach, but always with a clear goal in mind.
YOU use methods, techniques and practises that really work.
YOU feel that actually learning something is more important than getting a certificate.
YOU always take responsibility for the learning effect and never leave it to others.
YOU learn from mistakes and are always open to feedback, because you want to improve.
YOU feel that technology enriches learning.
YOU encourage the community together with other learning professionals so everyone can grow.
YOU make a difference through training and learning.

What’s the role of aNewSpring?
We believe technology can help people learn. Technology in itself is but a means to an end; one that should be used at the right time and in the right context.
We think it is important that our learning platform is used to make a difference and to really take people a step further. This can only be done by working with enthusiastic professionals who are active in the learning world and connecting us to it.
aNewSpring awards
At aNewSpring, we have a yearly tradition: the aNewSpring Awards. It is an event for and by our customers where we hand out the award for ‘Most Inspiring Learning Journey’. They can apply to become a nominee, from which eight candidates are selected. During the event, the candidates will try convince the audience, consisting mainly of other aNewSpring users, that their learning solution is the best.
An inspiring way of sharing ideas between learning professionals. In Dutch, but that may change soon…
Learning failures united
Once or twice a year, we organise a meetup of Learning Failures United. During this event, we share the biggest failures and mistakes in learning and training, plus the lessons we took from them.
It’s no surprise that there are countless quotes about learning from mistakes, because everytime you fail, there’s an opportunity to learn. Professionals in learning know this and use this every day in their work.
That’s why we celebrate those mistakes.
Always useful, never complete. This e-book tries to make sense of everything that’s happening around learning innovation, with help from you. It doesn’t matter whether you are a newbie to the world of learning or a seasoned pro, the incomplete guide will make sure you know what you are talking about.
Use it a reference work, take it to conferences as a helpful guide, give it to colleagues or just put it on your bookshelf for some intellectual bodybuilding
Ger Driesen is our Learning Innovation Leader and his drive is to connect and inspire the learning community. Next to his own sessions, speaking at conferences and being a social media pro, he also writes his (ir)regular Learning Notes. That’s a bite-sized collection of content about a current topic from the world of learning.
He picks out and curates the best bits from the massive mountain of online information and from what is shared by the top learning professionals. So you can keep up to date in your field when it comes to innovation, technology and methodology. Thanks for sharing, Ger!
