What:
How does finishing a course 33% faster sound? Because that’s what adaptive learning can do for learners. In this webinar we’ll dive deeper into our research study and how adaptivity can help your courses!
For whom:
This webinar is interesting for learning designers who want to learn more about adaptivity. It gives you tips and tricks on how to implement this functionality. Beyond that, it’s truly interesting!

Ever had that moment when you just know something is going to take forever to complete? So, you delay, then start it hesitantly, only to be shocked when you get it done in a third of the time?

That’s the kind of time savings adaptive learning could bring to the table for learners.

Pull up a chair and we’ll share just how aNewSpring, together with Bohn Stafleu van Loghum (BSL), improved the learning experience. Even better? Join the webinar and find out how you can adapt courses yourself!

What can I expect?

Ger Driesen (Learning Innovation Leader) and Roy de Vries (Customer Success Manager) from aNewSpring together with Karin Linden (Manager e-learning) and Sara Swier (Projectmanager e-learning) of Bohn Stafleu van Loghum will dive deeper into adaptive learning in general, best practices and just how we adapted the BSL learning journey that laid the foundations for the groundbreaking results, achieved in this research project.

We’ll also have a Q&A session where we answer some of your burning questions!

Are you a learning designer who wants to increase the adaptivity and functionality of your courses? Has your learning journey hit a plateau? Join the discussion! We’ll share tips and tricks on how to reinvigorate your learning environment and give your learners the gift of time!

The research; traditional vs adaptive

aNewSpring together with BSL and HAN University of Applied Sciences, conducted a classical research to investigate the effectiveness of the adaptive learning course compared to a ‘regular’ (traditional) version.

BSL’s adaptive learning programme ‘Medical Mathematics’ was used to conduct this classic experiment on. Medical mathematics is an important skill for healthcare workers. Once every two years, they are obligated to show their competency. This programme is mandatory study material for many nurses and healthcare workers, but for most of them it’s definitely not their favourite subject. It is a very important subject though, because a small error in medical arithmetic can be a matter of life or death.

BSL looked into efficiënt ways to reduce study time but still prove correct competency. Imagine if they could finish their course 33% faster! That’s where the aNewSpring platform and team jumped in. The aNewSpring platform has allowed you to design adaptive learning journeys for more than 10 years already. However, we believe there’s still a lot to learn about this approach and that many more training providers and learners can benefit from it.

BSL and aNewSpring worked together to research adaptive learning in practice. You can now benefit from our acquired knowledge and results.
