What:
Join us for an afternoon of excellence where we will share with and learn from some of the best in our learning community. This year, we’ll be awarding two different awards, one for the Most Impactful Learning Journey and one for the Best Learner Experience.

For whom:
aNewSpring partners, customers and users worldwide, current and former, members and friends of the aNewSpring family, and everyone else that works with the aNewSpring learning platform or is interested in seeing the best examples of learning journeys.

Join us for an afternoon of excellence where we will share with and learn from some of the best in our learning community.

This year, we’re taking this show on the road! Over the past 20 years, we’ve learned and grown together with our clients and partners. On this special anniversary, we are going to take you on a journey through the years and around the world!

20 years of aNewSpring!

The aNewSpring Awards is an annual event in which the top Learning Journeys of the Year are celebrated by fellow aNewSpring-users.

Since 2017 aNewSpring has organised yearly Awards for all users of our platform. Over time different companies rose to the challenge and the crème de la crème were selected by a jury of their peers…

As the 2023 edition of The aNewSpring Awards approaches, we’re reminded of the incredible milestone we’re reaching: 20 years of aNewSpring! Throughout the years, we see our community growing and expanding, so we thought it would fit to also expand the categories.

This year, members of our learning community can be nominated in two categories:

  • The Most Impactful Learning Journey
  • The Best Learner Experience

Are you a customer who has developed an amazing learning journey? This year we’re on the lookout for the Most Impactful Learning Journey and the Best Learner Experience. That’s right! This year you can compete in two awards categories.

Join as a visitor

Are you a lifelong learner interested in global approaches to learning? Are you looking for interesting and versatile ways to up your e-learning game ? Are you curious about our learning community? Are you keen to have a closer look “under the aNewSpring hood” to see how you too can build a learning journey? Then this is the event for you!

Become a winner

It all starts with nominating the amazing learning journey you created yourself (or with a great team). As mentioned before, you can compete in two different categories, but there are no rules against wanting to compete in both. When you start signing up, just select which category (or categories) you want to compete in.

Submissions are now closed.

All nominees will be assessed by an experienced team of judges. This assessment process starts with your submission. All submissions of the candidates in each category will be shown to two different panels of judges. Once scores are tallied, the Top 3 in each category will be announced. Congratulations, you’re a finalist!

Following public voting, the winners of The Most Impactful Learning Journey and The Best Learning Experience will be announced!

This year we offer you two ways to submit your application:

  • Send us a short pitch video
    addressing the criteria in the category you have selected
  • Alternatively, you can submit a full presentation (PPT/Google Slides)
    sharing how your learning journey aces all the criteria in your chosen category

So what do we expect from you in each of these categories?

In the category, Most Impactful Learning Journey,
show the jury:

  • How well you have used initial analysis, learning methods (didactics & evidence based approaches), and instructional design to create the best possible learning effectiveness and efficiency
  • How you translated these didactical principles to use of functionalities in the platform
  • How the learning journey created impact for the learners in their workplace and/or in society (we don’t mean learner satisfaction by this)
  • Share about the process of creating your learning journey. Maybe the first pass was not directly right? Please share your own learning journey as well

In the category, Best Learner Experience,
show the jury:

  • How you accommodated your learners the best way via your design
  • What deliberate choices you made regarding UX (User eXperience design), ease of use, accessibility, personalisation, colours, fonts, pictures, pictograms etc.
  • What innovative approaches you applied to support the Learner eXperience
  • How learners rate the Learning eXperience of your learning journey (qualitative and quantitative data, numbers and quotes)
  • Share about the process of creating your learning journey. Maybe the first pass was not directly right? Please share your own learning journey as well
