At aNewSpring, we do everything we can to make learning fun and effective. Our software for professional educators helps them create beautiful, effective and varied Learning Journeys. We work with a no-nonsense approach and believe in open, positive and respectful collaboration.

How will you contribute to our mission?

In our mission to empower the learning journeys of millions of people around the world, we need to convince as many professional training providers as possible to pick us as their learning platform. To get there we need to be at the top of our marketing game, including product marketing as a vital part of the engine.

That’s where you come in! It’ll be your mission to take the wonderfully versatile capabilities and features of our learning platform and boil it down to a clear and compelling offer that perfectly matches the reality of our ideal customer. And you make sure that product messaging and comms are consistent and spot on across the board, both internally and externally on every channel. But that’s just the beginning!

By constantly talking to our customers, you know exactly what keeps them up at night and what makes them tick. You are the go-to person in the organisation for customer insights and you actively feed them to the product, marketing and leadership team to make sure those insights are at the center of the decision-making process.

What will you do as Product Marketing Lead?

This is a new role at aNewSpring. This means that you’ll have a lot of room to shape the role and the product marketing vision and strategy in close collaboration with leadership.

In a nutshell everything that relates to how we communicate our product to our market(s) will be your responsibility. Being the go-to person for customer and market insights in our product team, you’ll also play an important role in shaping our product vision, roadmap and go-to-market strategy. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Crafting our product marketing messages in accordance with our brand story;
  • Being the voice of our customer in our cross-functional product team;
  • Developing and refining our product marketing strategy and processes;
  • Developing and refining our propositions and pricing models;
  • Setting up a feedback loop with our customers for continuous insights;
  • Developing personas and messaging hierarchies;
  • Conducting market research to inform our international go-to-market strategy;
  • Developing assets to support marketing and sales initiatives and new releases (case studies, product tours, brochures, release notes, sales presentations, etc.);
  • Reviewing product related copy created by colleagues to make sure it’s consistent with our positioning and messaging;
  • Improving our rating and visibility on SaaS comparison platforms like G2Crowd, Capterra and eLearning Industry.

Who are you?

  • You’re passionate and know a thing or two about how technology can help people learn better.
  • You love and have an exceptional ability to tell engaging, compelling stories in any medium.
  • You have proven experience shaping & executing product marketing in a SaaS scale-up environment.
  • When someone asks you to research price elasticity you know exactly what to do.
  • Your day is not complete without scrolling through new launches on Product Hunt.
  • You’re experienced at setting up a customer feedback program and know how to translate feedback to insights.
  • You’re a natural communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • A strategic thinker and a doer.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • An academic level of thinking.
  • Fluent in English and preferably Dutch.

We have built our systems and processes entirely on remote working. We have a ‘Preboarding Learning Journey’ about our culture and methods. Plus an online onboarding programme which we complete together.
